Mole Removal
Mole removal treatment is ideal to treat the common mole, which is a coloured spot on the skin that develops when pigment cells (melanocytes) grow in clusters.
The medical term for moles is melanocytic naevi and most adults usually have between 10 and 40 on their bodies.
Although common moles may be present at birth, they usually appear later in childhood and increase during the teenage years. During pregnancy moles often get darker and they can fade away completely from around the age of 50.
Most of the time moles are harmless and can also be seen as a cosmetic enhancement. Other moles may be a nuisance (for example catching on clothes or a razor), or present problems due to possible skin cancer. In these cases, mole removal is a typically safe and quick procedure carried out by the Skin Specialist Ireland.
With years of experience in treating various types of moles, we find that the size and appearance of unsightly moles can be visibly reduced and improved using Advanced Electrolysis techniques.
